In just a few minutes of your time, you can change someone’s life! It’s a simple game that can be so addictive! And when the outcome is feeding a person or a family, you really can’t refute it. I’ve been known to play this game and completely lose track of time.

Hello my lovelies! I am talking about Toms Shoes. Maybe you’ve heard of them? If not, you’ll LOVE them by the end of this article! One philanthropy that I am totally involved with and am extremely passionate about! The fou
nder of Toms Shoes is Blake Mycoskie [the amazing race]. He began Toms Shoes three years ago when on a trip to Argentina he befriended some children. They had no shoes. Their feet had sores and open wounds & Blake decided to do something about it. Everyone thought he was crazy! I mean a business plan where for every single pair of shoes sold, one pair of shoes would be donated to children in Africa and South America?! Of course! This is the One-For-One Initiative! In a courageous move Blake set out to do just that. And he indeed has done some amazing things: in just three short years Blake has donated OVER 140,000 shoes to children without them. Some that have never in their life owned a pair. [Think about how many shoes you have in your closet...even if it's only three pairs] But it’s not just a simple buy some shoes and I’ll give some to those kids far away. Toms Shoes actually has these shoe drops that they do several times a year with a HUGE team of volunteers and celebrities [like Hanson who are HUGE advocates of Toms] and Blake himself actually places the shoes on the feet of THOUSANDS! Now is that amazing or what!? The 33 year old lives in LA on a boat! [very cool]
